On March 24th, 2023 in Mechanicsville, VA, Tasiyah was shot to death in the parking lot of a bar. Her killer and his girlfriend targeted her after an altercation a month prior.
Report: “According to witnesses, as the victim walked past the suspects vehicle, Battle was overheard saying what the witness believed was “Shoot him” or “Do it” and then observed the male in the driver seat of the vehicle discharge a firearm multiple times, striking the victim.
The victim then jumped into the witnesses car who fled the area before pulling over on the shoulder of Three Notch Road due to the victims condition. As the witness and victim fled, the suspect vehicle was observed following them at a high rate of speed and approximately four additional gunshots were heard being fired towards the victim and witness.
Additional witnesses also confirmed seeing Battle in the passenger seat and a black male known as “Dee” in the driver seat, and confirmed they also saw shots being fired from the right front passenger window of the vehicle.
During the investigation, it was found that approximately 1 month prior, the victim and Parks had been involved in a physical altercation at the same establishment.”
Location: Big Dogs Paradise Bar, Grille & Liquor Store located at 28765 Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, VA, at about 1:15 a.m.

For the years that god gave us her, she was a joy and made sure everyone she was around knew that they were loved.”

Report: Erin Nicolle Battle: “UPDATE 7/25/2023: Following an arrest warrant and criminal indictment filed on June 6th, and July 10th, 2023. Erin Nicolle Battle age 29 of Waldorf was taken into custody earlier this month and is being held without bond.
Battle has been charged with Murder 1st Degree, Firearm Use/Felony/Violent Crime, and Accessory After Fact Murder 1st and 2nd Degree. She is currently awaiting sentencing.
On January 31, 2020, St. Mary’s County Judge Joseph Michael Stanalonis sentenced Battle to 5 years for con-assault 2nd degree with all but TWO days suspended.”
